An S2Ki member wants to sue me.. :)
Seems like you're just trying to punish him for him not accepting your return & selling you the wing (under false pretense) in the first place.
Just ship it back, at your expense, and be done with it. The answer to him being a dick to you about the sale & return is not for you to be a dick back to him.

You should pay to ship it back. Be the bigger man.
You could ship it back COD for 50 bucks or whatever the shipping cost is then if he wants it he'll pay.
He's bluffing, he won't be taking you to court. You may get a letter from a lawyer even, but this is small claims court stuff. Noone is coming after you.
Reread ckit's advice. It's what a mature man would do in thus situation.

What a dolt. He is totally bluffing. Small claims court will make him shell out more in fees than it's worth. Don't sweat. Tell the sucka that if he wants his wing he's repaying for shipping for not knowing his product and not being honest and up front.

If you sold me an intake and I got shipped an intake that was the wrong model but still fit, then yes, I would pay to ship it back.
He sold you a perfectly functional wing.
It was a miscommunication. It didn't work out. If you wanted business-grade customer service and return policies, buy from a business.
You accepted the "risk" by purchasing from an individual and without objectively confirming the particulars of the item.
It DOES fit the S2000. Technically, that's correct.
So ship the box back and don't be passive aggressive.

In addition, he comes out yelling at me, and telling me to do this and that or else he'll sue. That shit didn't help anything. Regardless, I'm shipping it back.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!! Ship it to me and I'll "ship" it to him; that way, you won't waste any money because I'll pay for the fee.

I'm not really trying to be a dick back at him. I honestly believe that if it wasn't my fault, I shouldn't have to pay for anything. It was his mistake so he should cover everything.
For places that give you a "no questions, no hassles" guarantee... well, you wind up covering it in the overhead.
If you had bought the wing directly from APR, you would have gotten the right wing and been able to return it. But why didn't you? Cost. You can't have it both ways. You took a gamble and lost this time.
