Seiko Owners
Now thats better!!!! Geez I was starting to think forums had lost it. Red Mx5, its all cool with me. Put me in my place anytime.
My apologies for a "provacative" post. The last statement that RED MX5 points out, was outlandish on purpose to see what kind of response it would get. I do believe it though, but I think the first part applies to about 2% of the population or less. Just me bieng a fiendish a-hole as a social experiment. I also have no problem with someone disagreeing with me and respectfully telling me I am being a dink. No bruised ego here.
I do know a guy that lands his helcopter in the country club parking lot, to show all the other people with money that HE is wayyyyyyy better than they are. That represents the statement that set off Red Mx5. Or someone like Dennis Koslowski for example.
I am not a fan flaunting wealth, I think it is in bad form, but people should be able to buy and appreciate what they want with their own money. No one has to give anything away, thats compulsion and not compassion. (or the tax code if you like) I also know people who are completely selfless, make me look like a selfish skin flint so I am definitely not perfect. I just hope that everyone one this forum who is fortunate enough to have an S2000, a Rolex, a Giagantic TV, a nice home, etc. remembers those with nothing once in a while.
I am going to write on the blackboard "Do not tweak others on the S2K" 100 times.

BTW - the Seiko Kinetic's have a capacitor that does need replacing and the capacitor is far more $$ than a battery.
P.S. - the whole reason I started this thread was the posting of a picture of a collection of Rolexs in another thread. It's one thing to have a Rolex, it's another to feel you must post a picture of your collection of them. So he has a bunch of them. As Garfield would say........ Big Fat Hairy Deal.
Seikos are nice watches...
I have a Seiko Kinetic Actura Series i wear everyday
and a Seiko Kinetic Sport Series i wear at the beach...
Never have to change battery, and man are they every built solid....

Don't mind us young people, we tend to say nonsense sometime.
