I would wait until you get your S2000 and then make a choice. And if you don't know what to do by then I would put it into storage for a couple of months and make a choice later. As for driving it, I would drive it once a week, good advice from someone on the board. If you do choose to sell it, take one last trip in the CRX before you sell it. I had a 1990 CRX Si and before I sold it my wife and I did a Vegas Run in the car. It was a great way to say good bye. And make sure you take pictures of the car, that is something I forgot to do and now I really wise I did take some pictures. If I could go back, I would have kept the car. At the time I had 4 cars and a motorcycle. I should of sold them all and kept the Si. I too had great memories in that car.

I guess the next riddle will be what I should get for it?

Anybody else out there who wants to say keep it and has a strong rationale for why?

I know you WANT to keep it, you just have to do what makes the most sense..............I recently sold my 65 Mustang Convertible that had one previous owner I owned it for nearly ten years.........it was a hard decision, but considering how often I drove it, (2k miles per year) how it was relatively unsafe if in an accident, etc.........it became clear to sell it. Do what is best for you. If it doesn't cost you anything to store it, keep it awhile until the S settles in and see what you think...............no matter what others say.........cars DO become part of the family, even a Civic CRX

Get rid of it and enjoy your new transport.
We all look back with rose tinted spectacles, remember the car how it was not what it will become (i.e. a rusty unreliable piece of tin).

I will keep it... I mean, how much you could sell that CRX for? 1K? 2 K?
that is all you can get or less.... for me, I will keep the car..and drive it when I want to..
just my 2 cents...

what mods have you done? selling it you could probably get $2-3k if in very good condition. More if you were willing to part it. I'd keep it but that's just me. Always nice to have a beater.

I've had 3 different CRXs and still love them. It has to be my all time favorite car. I wish I still had it. If I were you, I would keep it at least for awhile. You can always sell it later if you find that you never drive/dream about the car anymore.

Any others?

I'm thinking ltweintz may be onto something when he says "If I were you, I would keep it at least for awhile. You can always sell it later if you find that you never drive/dream about the car anymore."
