Those rear quarter windows were just glued in if I remember right. Happened to a few people! I did a few 180 spins in the rain cornering, but never quite stuffed it!
I think you should sell it unless you plan on driving it at least once a month or more. A car that sets, will start having problems. In 7 years, you can plan on changing all the seals, the bad gas, anything rubber, and more.
As for later wishing you had the car, well decide now and just remember it, don't think about how you wish you had it back. I know. I had a 69 Mustang Convertible that was the reason I meet my wife, really nice car. It took me two years to restore, but I did the right thing in selling it. Also had a 73 Triumph TR6, that took three years to restore, kind of wish I had keep it, but I could always do it again and better than before.
Right now CRX SI are bring a great price, but it is your choice and you have to live with it. But if you keep the car, drive it every once it a while, so it does go to sh*t.
OK- you guys are starting to make me think it is time to turn over a new leaf in my life.
Not only am I emotionally attached to the '90 CRX-Si, I'm equally attached to an '85 Nighthawk 650 that looks brand new and has 48,950 miles on it. Every time I take it in for the Spring tune-up they ask me at the Honda dealer if I would like to sell it.
Now I'm thinking maybe sell the CRX-Si and the Nighthawk and get a new on 2 year old Honda VFR (Interceptor) because I know I'm going to have the time to keep motorcycling!
Time is in my favor because I have all next summer to sell off the CRX and the Nighthawk.
This post is helping me to start the divorce process I must go through to separate myself from my little Triple-H. Thanks guys!
i would actually keep the car, it already depreciated soo much of its value, its wont drop too much further and since you dont need the $. why sell? the only thing you have to remember is, if you have a 10 year old car, even with 5 miles on the odometer, and stored right away, parts on the car will still age, like the hosings/timing belt. so if you want to store the car, make sure you know what you are doing, take the wheels off the car, leve the car on jacks, drain the oi tranny/engine.
