lol, low self-esteem?
I'm a short guy 5'6", and I've never had a problem - a few pew picked on me once or twice when I was younger, but I didn't really understand why. So I'm shorter than most guys, what's the big deal?

That sounds awful, but a lot of insecurities seem to arise from above, thus the stereotypes, etc. Not to say I'm perfect, but I've never really questioned myself beyond simple things such as a hair cut or what shirt to wear. I've always been ok with my height, my weight and how I look overall - but Im aware that others aren't and I've noticed they tend to compensate in some way or another, or beat themselves up over it.
Im just trying to do what forums are meant for - have a discussion and get some insight so lets not get booty hurt. If you don't feel threatened or like "less of a man" thats great and its cool it never affected you negativly.
You can't compare the average height of Asian guys to white and black guys. Biologically, Asian people have been a little smaller in proportion. However, the young Asian American generation here in the U.S. seems to be getting taller due to different foods and lifestyles. Maybe in a couple decades, that young Asian generation will be almost as tall as white/black guys, on average.

Low self esteem? Not hardly. My self esteem is fine, but I think it could be different if I were short. I doubt I'd have the same confidence or carry myself the way I do now if I was another race/sex/shorter/fat/etc. I've had it easy as a height/weight porportionate white guy.

No, I'm not a bad ass, but you're an anorexic ass at a buck 70.
And to imply that being of another race is a complex? Douche bag!
That's the reason I got on your case.
Like I said, being Asian only means getting higher grades in school, and you need a beat-down from a black brotha.
I hope there are black brothas in San Antonio, and one day, they'll beat you down (as bad as in a basketball game).

By saying that, you implied that the only reason you have "confidence" is because of being white?
That's subtle racist mentality, if I see it correctly.
