Is Snap-On really THAT good?

Does Facom make their own tools? I ask because they are owned by Stanley, along with Proto and Mac tools.

Well, I have a Craftsman, and I love it. But the auto tech program I'm in has Snap-On. I prefer the Snap-On, but Craftsman works just perfect.

Snap-on is fantastic. These are the tools we use in the world of aviation in the Navy. I have seen these tools beaten to death while working on F-14 Tomcats, and F/A-18 Superhornets.

The only problem I have come across with them is that the 'chrome plating' has flaked off on some spanner wrenches.
are you freakin stoned. our snap on tools where always breaking the mac tools would hold out a hell of a lot better

I find the opposite to be true. in fact, I have yet to find a wrench that will hold a bolt or nut like a snap-on. the other wrenches, for the lack of a better word, "flex" and round off the corners
ive had that problem with snap on. ive snapped sockets in half, breaker bars, extensions, ratchets just to name a few
