Default so me and my gf want to do something special for..

our anniversary. it's on sunday march 5th and we just realized we haven't even planned for it =X she doesn't want to do the usual going out to eat dinner thing, something that she'll remember. i suggested maybe going to the park for a picnic or cooking at home but she said we should have made plans ahead of time to do that b/c saturday we'll be too busy with work to put any thought into this.

any ideas?

Well... I see your from Texas... Why don't you guys try maybe going for horse back ride through the countryside? And I don't really know how it works for horse back riding but maybe you guys can bring something to eat and stop along the way for a picnic like you had originally mentioned.

Another thought coming from the NYC side... in central park they have a huge water pond kind of thing and they rent out row boats for a nice quiet, private boat ride... maybe that?

Well... that's all I have for now. Hope I helped somewhat...

those sound like pretty good ideas, but this morning i put my thinking cap on and figured it all out.

i booked a hotel for tomorrow, i'm going in early and covering the bed with rose pedals in the shape of a heart. in the middle i'm gonna place something i made for her. purchased some red candles to place around the room, and since we're under 21 i got welches sparkling grape drink hahah she hates alcohol and i'll try to make it realistic this way lol. got some wine glasses for it, bringing silverware and plates, i can't cook so i'm getting food to go from an italian resturaunt, and i'm also dressing up as a waiter and wearing an apron to serve her food, she'll probably think that part is dorky but i'll manage lol.

Ah... nice. That's actually a pretty good idea about the grape juice. I'm sure she's going to get a kick out of that one... lol. Well... it seems to me that you have your problem solved now.

Enjoy your dinner and your "dessert"... haha.

my gf and I went to go see a show at the grande opera house, and it was a really great time.

I believe cirque du solei is coming to houston, maybe take her to it?

well i did the whole hotel thing, and wow it worked out perfectly. i seated her at the table where i had two candles lit and candles all around the hotel room and i went in the bathroom to change into nicer clothes so i could pretend i was a waiter with the apron on and the towel on my arm. i started putting her food on her plate and a few minutes later she was in tears saying that this is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for her just had to be there, it was a wonderful moment =]
