Someone once said on here that Car and Driver...
Is that true. I have someone fighting with me tooth and nail that the S2000 in stock trim, cannot touch 13.XX. So, does anyone have the Car and Driver issue, preferably a link to it, that shows a stock S2000 cracking 13's? I'd just really like to shut this gentlemen up.
Thank you,
Matt.
Edit: I'll take any proof I can get except for time slips, since they can easily have work done.

If you're looking for timeslips of stock Esses doing 13.xx, there are plenty of them posted at the top of the Street Encounters section. If you're looking for a magazine, show them the Road & Track that got 4.9s (0-60) and 13.xx, although they later admitted it was misprinted for an NSX.
I have seen Car and Driver get 13.xx but to find it online is hard, since they don't keep all their data online. I have some of those issues, but not going to look through them.

it is actually Motor Trend Magazine that showed 13.8 for the S2000.... Car and Driver had 14.4 for the first test of the S2000 and i think Road & Track was 14.0....
I ran a 13.9X @ 98mph at Maple Grove one summer night....so if that got "corrected" like the magazines supposedly do, it would be in the 13.8 range.
here is a link that shows the s2000 at 13.8 @ 100.5 mph.... not the actual article, but it should be enough for what you are looking for.
