Got my answer on Randy Rhoads. It was Quiet Riot. Plus, I found out that he and I share the same birthday (his was 4 years after mine). COOL!!!

He gets a little nuts with the distortion in some of his songs which I like.
Randy Rhodes
Mindcore I too love that solo in 'cult of personality' as well as the song itself and I never hear it anymore.

Actually, one of my all time favorite guitar solos is Jimi doing The Star Spangled Banner at Woodstock. That had to be one of the most awesome things to hear live. I get goose bumps whenever I hear it.

Oh ya, early VH was great! I also like some the Sammy Hagar era songs. 5150 probably does not have one of the best guitars ever done by Eddie but it's still one of my all time favs.
