Most lenders won't even provide you w/a loan unless you have fire coverage, earthquake insurance is a little tougher, they offered us earthquake coverage w/a 75,000 deductible, so we turned it down. Most houses aren't covered since an earthquake is considered an act of god.

damn shoulda snapped a quick picture of my backyard before i ran out of my house. it seriously looked like movie set or sumthing. EVERYTHING was engulf in flames. luckily my house is still standing.
