Just pay the ticket and don't get caught speeding again. And use your effin' turn signals. The other people on the road aren't frickin' mind readers.
Hell im all for Facism and a dictator, who needs the Constution anyways. Hell, I think its a great idea for the govt to take 75% of our income right off the top, dictate our religious preferences, how many kids we have and kill anyone who disagrees.

I think Castro would be a great guy, after all police deserve to beat the shit out of anyone who cant read their minds because cops risk their lives every day. Speeders and people who fail to signal turns are destroying the safety of this country.

The govt should be able to come into your house anytime they want and quarter soldiers without your permission!

**** the constution, right?!

NEVER EVER speak to police!!!
Unless, of course, you need to call on the police for help.

I used to drive like a jackass and do other stupid things when I was younger. But now that I've grown up, I try to live on the right side of the law and it's incfedible. I don't get harassed by the cops! It must be magic!

Been there and done that, they treated me like the criminal. When my car was broken into they said that they were going to arrest me for insurance fraud.

I told them I am the victum of a crime, I want my rights, and I will not answer any further questions without legal council. This pissed them off beyond belief. So no disrespect to you guys, but I have been a victum and the cops were equally worthless....

right, because that's the same thing as obeying the posted speed limit or paying a fine if you get caught

i love how everyone loves to harass cops for doing their job, and then go apeshit when a cop turns out to be bad every now and then.
what are you, a lawyer? an accountant? a pro ball player? a priest? you think those professions don't have any corrupt a-holes?

the speed limits are in place for a reason. and no, it's not to ruin your fun and piss you off. yeah, everyone speeds, but everyone knows the consequences if they get caught. so yeah, go the speed limit and use your turn signals, and stop pissing and moaning and crying foul play if/when you get caught.

The reason that I personally go 'ape-shit' over cops being corrupt/abusing power is that they almost universally *get away with it.* They never go to jail, they never lose their job, they never get anything done to them. They are essentially immune to punishment.

Yes, all those other professions have corrupt assholes. Yes, people in other professions do shady crap and break the law. Those people get arrested by the police and when they go to trial, they don't just go home with paid vacation. Hell, even NFL players frequently do *some* prison time, even it it isn't much.

The best lawyer can't completely save you in a trial, but a badge will. That is my issue with cops these days: 0 accountability.

Facism, corruption, scams... These are all signs beginning with a little speed limit. Erected on the false pretense of safety, speed limits are almost always set lower then the engineering surveys suggest. The surveys conducted do recommend the most safe speed and conditions for driving. Local authorities set them significantly lower then a safety survey would suggest, then they over police these traps.

The guys supporting the cops and their misconduct, I really dont understand. Where we be today as a nation if the founding fathers had not left and stood up against oppression and corruption?

I make alittle joke with some of the ladies I work with when they tease about killing their spouses. "Just get a badge and when you kill him, the worst case scenario you will face is paid vacation"

no one is supporting cop misconduct, at least i haven't picked that up from this or any of the other law enforcement-bashing threads.

all i'm saying is it gets old when people constantly bitch about getting tickets while admitting that they were speeding. i have plenty of friends who are cops, and i can assure you, at least the ones i know most definitely get punished when they F up.

i don't believe anyone should be above the law, regardless of how much money they have or what badge they wear. on the flip side, i also don't think that it's appropriate to label all cops as corrupt power-hungry assholes based on the actions of a few.

The media focuses primarily on the negative of everything. While I completely agree some cops are ignorant, corrupt, power hungry dicks who are trying to make up for being picked on in High School; these news stories you repeatedly post videos of single out only a percentage of police officers and their conduct. When they do something wrong, they are ostracized rigorously, but when they do their job correctly, do something great and help people 9 times out of 10 you wont hear about it because it is what they are expected to do.
