most strippers/pornstars have a lot of baggage. some know how to handle it, some don't. for those that have a better idea of what their baggage is they tend to have some understanding, but deep down almost all of them feel unappreciated no matter what you do.
If she KNOWS that she's hot and is doing this because she's confident she can take guys money so that they can jerk off later, then realize that she's probably going to be a very demanding control freak.
Mind you that they also like to play games with men...that's what the whole sex industry is about. getting guys to pay to jerk off. trust me on that.
If you want a relationship, I'd proceed with EXTREME CAUTION. It's high risk but like everything it has definite potential.

I think what she does for work and who she really is is not entirely an issue. Go out to dinner with her and treat her like you would any date. If you can deal with her on that level, and she turns out to be cool, then no problem. I think alot of times, women who are working as dancers etc get treated like objects only, and not as people who are doing what they can to make a living. If you dont have a problem with that, I say take her out and see what she is really like. What can you lose? the cost of a dinner? heck, thats cheaper than a good lap dance right? but I must agree with Josh also that you should proceed with caution. good luck either way!

Chroot, I'd say it's a precarious situation, but if it feels right to you, then you should go for it. I know that I personally wouldn't, but if it doesn't bother you, then I don't see why not. Just be careful, because you don't want to get your hopes up and get disappointed.

I'm -contemplating- a date... relationship is so distant yet it's not even worth discussing. I don't even think I care about a date. It's just that this hot stripper has my phone number, and I might end up taking her out in a few days. I just have to have my thoughts together before she calls -- if she does.
The worst part of all of it is that I have a very hot girl on the east coast that I've been dating for a while (I just moved to the bay area from Virginia in August), who easily could be a stripper if she was a little less shy about her body. Put it this way -- she's not shy around me, and she does pretty damn well in my bedroom. This girl wants to be more serious, and might end up moving out here in a few months to be with me. Now, she is not without her baggage... she gets called Britney Spears by the guys she works with at construction sites (she's an environmental scientist), she's (IMO) a pretty tough control freak, and sometimes she's frankly a pain in the ass.
But I do love her, I think. That's pretty important.

I'll post a picture here -- lemme know if you agree with me: that I should keep my girl and just toy with the stripper. I'm interested to see where it goes, but don't want to be stuck when it gets there.
