ez cd creator has this option. if you are on winnt/win2k, its a bit more tricky, but basically when it does make the cd bootable, it puts in two other files on the cd - very very small - so that "El Torito" compatible cdroms and bios' can identify and prompt you to boot from the bootable cdrom.

don't get it confused with ISO's or even autorun.inf's.

I can't pull it up right now or else I'd explain a bit more. Just use the help functionality in ez cd creator.

oh, and btw, its gotta be in ISO9660 format and NOT juliet format. ISO9660 format is 8.3 filenames instead of LFN's (long file names).

Hope this helps.

El Torito, ahah. The El Torito that the two guys were at while naming it "El Torito" is right by my house.

What Is El Torito?
El Torito is a specification written by Phoenix Technologies and IBM for bootable CD-ROMs. The El Torito specification allows for the creation of a CD-ROM as an image of a hard disk drive or a floppy drive. When you make an image of a hard disk, the CD-ROM will boot as drive C and all hard disk drive letters will be shifted up one letter. When booting a floppy disk image, the CD-ROM will be identified as drive A. The original drive A will become drive B and the original drive B will be unavailable.
