Super huge file (~17GB) in Win Me? DV d/l to computer question ...
I am trying to d/l some DV tapes into my computer. I have done this with my friend's computer before which runs Win XP and we can get the whole tape (90min, 17GB) in 1 single file just fine.
When I am trying to do the same thing at home (I am running Win Me), it seems like Win Me won't allow file size to exceed a certain size? I think the max I could get into 1 single file is something like 12min only?
My question is, how can I, if that's all possible, d/l a 90min DV tape into the computer and put it as 1 single file?
is that the problem for FAT32? FAT32 (Win Me) can't support the file size while NTFS (Win XP) can?
i just want to convert those DV tapes into VCDs. and I am using firewire, P4 256MB RAM, Adobe Premier, Canon ZR50 DV camcorder, 60GB HD, Win Me, ...
Thanks a lot.
