Anyone else a AT&T Wireless or Cingular user? I currently use AT&T Wireless, and I had always had no reception at my work . But yesterday, I noticed that my phone was displaying "Cingular" instead of the usual "AT&T Wireless" and that I had full reception . It's still behaving the same today. I'm hoping that it'll stay this way since my GSM America plan states:

Regardless of what's on your phone display, when you have a GSM America National plan you pay no roaming for voice or data

I've got T-Mobile. When I was in Vegas last month, my phone displayed "Cingular" as its provider. And I've seen several others as well, in the past (Einstein etc).

I've never been charged for roaming. I guess this is pretty normal?

GSM It still sounds hollow and shoeboxy to me

I had a 46 minute phone call/battle with a tier 3 Cingular rep and he basically admitted they have done away with good will as a company I wish I was not under contract!
