Has anyone here bothered to spend a little time learning about the growth of Scientology? There's an excellent book online, called A Piece of Blue Sky.

The server seems to be having some issues now. There may be other mirrors online. It's an excellent book, and chronicles the creation of a modern "religion" known as Scientology. Like all religions, it has its fair share of mind-play, mystery, palpable urgency, social order, and dubious practices. There are an astounding number of parallels (if you choose to see them) between mature Scientology and other organized religions.

As I've stated before, I don't know if there is a god or not, however I do believe there could be ghosts too.
