The line that I quoted. Taken completely out of context. Nothing about 9/11 was amusing.
He was refering to the quote. As in...

Guy 1 to guys 2 & 3: America has the attention span of a walnut.
Guy 2: Ha thats funny
Guy 3: [sarcasm] whats funny? I already forgot what guy 1 said[/sarcasm]*

*he forgot because he has the attention span of a walnut, hypothetically speaking of course.

What were we talking about and what does 9/11 have to do with it? I forgot.
I think you interpreted my reaction to the walnut comment to mean something different but I don't remember what my point was. Damn ADD

God, I hope its not one of those Micheal Bay/Jerry Bruckhiemer panning shots in the sunset for drama type movies.

So I'm digging up this thread because I watched World Trade Center with Nicholas Cage on the movie channel tonight. I intentionally didn't see it sooner because I wasn't comfortable with the subject matter being commercialized, but I think it was done well.

I still had to look away several times because it was pretty effective in bringing back some of the memories of that event. Pretty emotional stuff.

Every time I see the building falls I am brought to the brink of tears.
