One man was reportedly assaulted Tuesday, after a confrontation with two men, Local First News reports. Racial tensions may have played a role in the attack.

Vandals fired at least six bullets through windows of the Islamic Center of Irving, outside Dallas, causing about $3,000 in damage, officials said. No injuries were reported.

 

We all know there are idiots in every country, and our country does have it's share of racist idiots who would use this as an opportunity to act on their ignorance. I hope noone on this board ever has to deal with one of those idiots.

 

I've already had to deal with it at one point in my life (and I didn't deal with it as rationally as I should have), but I do know that I will have to deal with it again in my life, however this time, I'm willing to step up to bat for more than just myself.

keep an ear out for more reports....I'm positive there will be plenty more. It's kind of hard trying to find reports of incidents that aren't being publicized...if you keep an ear to the ground to your local AM radio stations, you'll get the reports that parallel what I hear of here in Chicago.

Please let's hope that I am wrong and the events I foresee will not come to pass....but I do speak from experience.
