Finish your trip by Flying to Chicago for 3 days.
This.

I think most people who have never been to Chicago underestimate it. I often find a lot of people who visit for the first time arrive with the predetermined notion the place is a dump or something, but once they get around a bit, they think its awesome. Definitely a place that is overlooked.

You really need to visit San Francisco and follow all the rainbows... they lead to a huge pot of gold...

Take a trip to Deals Gap, NC and drive US 129...travel Skyline Dr in from NC to VA or farther....

Hey, I'm from England. I'm planning to travel around USA this summer, for about 2-3 weeks. Basicly I need any advice: what places to visit or avoid, where to rent a car, cheapest flights inside USA etc. Many thanks
Do you know Bella and Lisa?

Ok, I'm 23 and will travel with my girlfriend and other friend couple (same age). We're thinking to take a plain from UK to New York, spend a day in there, rent a car and drive to Florida, would like to drive from Florida to California so we could see other states on the way (New Mexico...) or would it be better to fly from Florida to Los Angeles? I mean is it worth it to drive (Florida - LA)? And what could we visit there. We will go to Vegas of course, but also would like to see some landscapes (mountains, waterfalls etc.) not just cities.
As we have limited time in USA (just 2-3weeks) we're thinking to take few flights inside USA, not sure about the costs, do you know cheap airlines?
Don't drive from Florida to LA. If you want that trip, fly from FL to either Denver or somewhere in Texas or New Mexico, and then drive an interesting trip from there. Up until that point... it's not worth the drive.
