you are 110% absolutely right. A lot of us won't admit it, but at a young age (22), a lot of us guys want a girl that everyone thinks is sexy, and then we want to be able to get along with her when we're alone. The hard part is that it seems that these two do not work cooperatively most of the time.

I care more about personality and body though. A girl who will be willing to go to the gym with me, and take walks on the beach.

Coming from dating a guy I wasn't very attracted to, it makes everything a chore. I thought he was cute in the face but not so much everywhere else and everything was a chore, including the time spent in bed. IMHO physical attraction to your partner is an important aspect of your relationship. I don't care what anyone else thinks (though my current boyfriend gets loads of compliments and I always catch girls checking him out - I like others agreeing with my opinion!) per se, it matters what I think.

But seriously - Most would agree that you should be physically attracted to your significant other. For those, however, who find that physical appearance is even

 

This is real simple - find the guy/girl with the good personality, and invest $10k-20k in plastic surgery to make him/her beautiful.

You get the personality and looks for less than a divorce from the pretty psycho down the road.

 

I see girls once in a while that aren't beautiful by media standards, but I can't stop looking at them. The quality of her hair and good skin does a lot for me. Add beautiful gazy eyes to that, and she can have me by a whip.

On a side note, I wonder how many people eventually just give up the search for perfections and settle for the best they were able to get. That to me is a very sad thought. I work hard in life to achieve whatever I have wanted in life. Whether it was grades in school in the past, or now money. Thankfully, I've been able to get whatever I have wanted in life so far. I just turned 23, and starting to feel like I'm getting older and need to think about getting married. I don't think I would settle down just because the clock is ticking. If I did, it would cause problems further down the road.
