but if you're just not attracted to someone (or the way their house smells...)

What if the guy was nice and attractive, but his house smelled like freshly pooped shit?

There is a Scot's place of work joke in there somewhere.

haha I <3 you, that was the EXACT thing on my mind when I read that.

Coming from dating a guy I wasn't very attracted to, it makes everything a chore. I thought he was cute in the face but not so much everywhere else and everything was a chore, including the time spent in bed. IMHO physical attraction to your partner is an important aspect of your relationship. I don't care what anyone else thinks (though my current boyfriend gets loads of compliments and I always catch girls checking him out - I like others agreeing with my opinion!) per se, it matters what I think.
haha, I told you there is nothing I can do about that babe

but to the thread starter and everyone else wondering, you HAVE to be physically attracted to your significant other b/c if you arent then it REALLY will just not work out... you can have your fun with them for a bit but the attraction will eventually just dwindle and you will realize that they are just not the one as hard as it may be to see.

interesting thoughts and good to hear from the female side so as to prove that men are not the only shallow ones. most of what people have said make sense, but it makes me wonder about old couples. do they still find each other attractive? imagine having to live with Scot, hearing his flatulence, smelling his $hit and still wanting to have anything to do with him besides use his money...

old people don't find eachother attractive.thats why the personality matters....so you'll stay with them till the end.

you may know this already but just incase you don't.

finding this person...the one of your dreams...is the easy part.

the hard part is...will she want YOU.why are you so special then the next guy...think about it.

peace
