XI is going to be beta tested in America in a few months, from what I understand. We should see it by about Jan '04, if SquareEnix keeps on track

Woo hoo, I just got done beating FF1 all over again... I must say the remake of FF1 has just blown me away -- they put a lot of attention to detail into the monsters and mixing the old-school with the new technology. And I really appreciate that they made the bosses have double the original amount of HP. The only problems with the remake are A) it's too easy, even on "original difficulty", and B) the battle music was not improved at all, it's somehow much much worse. Gonna start playing FF2J remake after taking a few days off.
