UPS = Morons
I ordered 4 tires from tire rack, but had to split the order to get my debit card to accept the purchases. So the 4 tires were delivered from tire rack to my local UPS place in 2 bundles of 2 tires. Now, I don't imagine that there were a lot of other tires received that day - most likely none. The fronts were delivered without a hitch, the rears hadn't shown up as of this afternoon. So I check the tracking, and this is what it says: "MULTIPLE ERRORS EXIST IN THE ADDRESS LABEL. UPS IS ATTEMPTING TO DETERMINE THE CORRECT INFORMATION TO COMPLETE DELIVERY" How can there be multiple errors in it, yet the package got to the same UPS facility as the other tires? The obviously didn't try very hard to determine the correct information, because 6 minutes later they shipped them back to the sender. Now, if there was 2 tires from tire rack to me, and 2 tires from tire rack but they're not sure where they're going, all sitting next to each other, wouldn't you think that a quick call to tire rack would be easier than shipping them back?
Morons!
Morons!
Yeah, I don't get it...
Thankfully Tire Rack has awesome service to compensate for UPS' total lack thereof, and it doesn't hurt that I live 2 hours from their warehouse. So I may get my tires tomorrow, after all.

Last week I got 4 tires from Tirerack, but they used Fed-Ex. They arrived in two days. My regular driver (a lady) asked me why I had tires delivered instead of buying them at the tire store. When I told her they were $430 cheaper than the lowest local price, she wrote down their web site.
I've found its quicker and cheaper to take shipments by truck to the local hub near the airport here. They are so fast at processing and gives us till 7pm to get everything together.
So, I've been happy with them. Pickups are OK but mid day you just dont have everything good to go.
