used car problems....any solutions?
When I bought my typhoon (2 owners, 31k miles) i had asked the seller to take it to a dealer to have it inspected. He said no, that it was mechanically perfect.... i have several emails back and forth with that wording.
Anyway.... I trusted him, after speaking to him on the phone for 30 minutes but....the truck so far has needed a new heater core, has a fuse blowing problem, a leak in the windshield washer lines, it was lowered (neat, but he told me it was all stock), and has a 160F thermostat, which is neat if you want your radiator to work double time.......also, it needs aligned and the tires spun balanced due to it shaking at 60mph+
Usually used cars are sold "as-is", but we never stated that in any of the emails or paper work.
Do I have any way to print all of the emails and make him pay for some part of the $700+ it is costing me to get this shit fixed?
Thanks - Scot (have not had this many problems with any vehicle, so quickly)
