Does the V-1 have to be hardwired to a power box or does it have a 12 volt jack? I would like to be able to easily switch it between my cars.

 

It comes with a 12V cigarette adaptor as well. The hardwiring however is very easy to do, completely reversible and it much better integrated than using the adaptor... especially with the odd location in the S2k.
