I run mine for the cigarette lighter / power point, but for the S2000 it's a bit of long reach.

The arrows are really great.

yes, the V1 is that good. I've had mine since '94 or so (right after they came out) and it still works awesome. I'm not kidding.
You know they have a program where you can go to their website, enter your serial number and they will give you a list of improvements they have made to the V1 and for a price they will modify yours to be up-to-date.

I'm on board with the V1 also. I have had it for about 2 yrs and it gives me at least a mile notice if not two on the roads I travel. My girlfrined did get a ticket when she borrowed my car with it on, but it was laser and it is very hard to detect it. Usually if the laser detection goes off, they have you already. I did go off when they nailed her. Not that much laser in use yet though so it's still a good insurance policy for the time being.

I love my V-1 and wouldn't be without it. I move mine from car to car.

I have it hard wired into the fusebox in my S and plug it into the power outlet in my TL. I bought an extra suction cup window bracket and have one in each car. I only have to move the V-1 and plug it in.

I've got it, also--works great. Hardwiring can be done by even a 12 year old. There is a thread that a user named "Loki" made. I followed it and it seriously took 5 minutes. All you have to do is plug in the power from the fuse box and then ground the other wire, run the cord up to the windshield, and voila! I have zero electroics skills, and it was a cake walk for me. Good luck, and you will not regret it.

Also, I got mine straight from www.valentine1.com. You can pick it up from ebay or other auction sites, for used ones, but they're all priced very close to a brand new one. Plus, now they've added POP protection.
