I'm with TMobile, which sucks b/c Im 25 miles from atlanta and do not get signal at my house. If I were to switch it would definitely be to Verizon.

My plan is up in may (ATT) so I'll finally be able to get something better. I have a crappy phone so its going to feel great to get rid of my POS. I honestly don't need a lot of apps, just web surfing. So many time's i've been in manhattan and trying to find either a specific place friends are meeting up or find a new place once were out and plans fall through. Droid looks pretty good.

ATT does have a faster network but their network signal quality is so crap that it runs slower in dense markets. My droid raped my iphone 3gs's internet speed in every way possible from downloading email attachments to loading websites. And this was while BOTH had 3g. Whats the point of having 3g service from att when its still slow as shit? ATT's 3g is TECHNICALLY faster but i have never seen those speeds in real life. However, ive tethered both my iphone and droid in 3g areas and the droid will get me 1-1.5 mbs download speed while the iphone got me barely 500 kbs

Also keep in mind guys Verizon is the first to start investing in LTE technology which is going to be big.

Ive had sprint and tmobile in manhattan (HUGE market) and they were both mediocre/bad sometimes. ATT has been by far the worse.
The point is you pay for the better service. Verizon and ATT know that they have two of the largest networks with both pros and cons and thats why they can charge their users extra.
Also its easy as shit to get a 20-30% off your bill with verizon and att. I have verizon now and get 20% off my whole bill so i pay about what you sprint guys pay.
