A true videophile would only get CRT as it's better in contrast and resolution...... but I'm freak, I have a CRT projector

IMHO, Samsung is garbage. I bought a Samsung 27", and after a few years, you cannot read text on the screen at all - it is way too blurry. Don't waste your money. It looks good on day one, but years later, it is going to be crap. You get what you pay for, and with Samsung, you aren't paying all that much. You do the math.

Well looks like my price argument just got OWN3d! On Circuit City's website right now, you can get the 50" Samsung DLP for $3199.99 plus get a $100 gift card. Maybe that will help your choice or not...

My brother has the grand wega and he loves it. He also had a samsung projection screen in the past. It burnt two bulbs in one year. Samsung is not on the same level as sony with projections IMO.
