I'll chime in again.

The National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors is a large organization with many groups around the country. http://www.nawcc.org/

This is at the top of my need list:

Oh. That in no ways was a slam on JP money. His post just happened to be right behind mine. I also took it with my gay ass blackberry curve. Thanks JP!

So you guys motivated me and I joined watchuseek.com and started doing a lot of research. I also spoke to my brother who is a bit more into watches than I and found some that I liked that were not crazy expensive. Its Chinese movement but it seems that Alpha has gotten some overall positive reviews. My brother got it for me for the Holidays and I really like it. Very reasonably priced so if I feel like I just can't wear a watch I won't have any qualms with ditching it.

I just look at my cell phone.
Reminds me of this:

"How long you lived out here?"
"Man, I don't know. I quit wearing a watch when I moved out here."
"Wow, that's so cool."
"Yeah. No, like my cell phone has a clock on it, so I don't really need it."
"Right, so it's basically the same thing."

I've always wanted an Omega myself. There is just a simple sophistication about them that I think is much classier than a Rolex. Plus, if it's good enough for James Bond it is good enough for me.

That wouldn't be my first choice, but it all depends on you. What are you looking for out of a watch?
