It's not just "trailer trash" that believes they've been abducted. Back in my days of working as a counselor I got roped into working with a group of people who believed they had been abducted. This was before it became the popular thing to claim as well. Most of the stories were pretty much the same and they came from all walks of life. I worked with doctors, MD's and Phd's, lawyers, stock brokers, a TV producer, a landscaper, a port manager, writers, white, black, asian, etc. All of these people had far to much to lose to allow the public to hear their stories. They didn't want to be thought of as "nutjobs." Maybe it's only the people with nothing to lose that want to go public in a hurry?

After a couple of years of working with these people I can say that I have no clue what was going on with them. They believed it was happening and sometimes had scars to show for it. I can say that 99% of them are not freaks. Some actually wanted to hear that they were crazy in hopes that it would stop the problem.

I guess it's safe to say the truth is out there but I sure as hell don't know what it is.

if space (wow what a bland name) is as big as they say it is..there just HAS to be something other then us..
if they even tried to reach us. they would be millions..billions whatever light years away..

I'm not too sure about alien visitations occurring, but I do believe that we are not alone. The universe supposedly has no end. It just continues forever... I doubt that we are the only intelligent life form in the entire universe. In our solar system? Yes, we're definitely the only living intelligent beings, but I have a really strong feeling that there are other life forms living in one way or another around the universe.
I wonder how other civilizations are compared to ours..

I believe we have benn visted. Look at the similarity of different cultures: Myans, Egyptians, Incas and various others drawing similar dipictions of Gods. Building similar structures which is a mystery in its self how they did it with limited technology.

I was watching a show on Discover that talked about this and it was amazing!
