Wesley Snipes sentenced for tax evasion
Yes he would be going even if he were white. I personally am acquainted with an attorney (white, born in the USA)who paid taxes, but cheated big time. He was caught and convicted and he spent about a year in prison. And he was about 75 years old when convicted. Don't mess with the IRS.

lol
It never ceases to amaze me that some people who accumulate great wealth because of the great country they live in and the opportunities they are afforded, then will make every effort to not give back in any way shape or form to their land of opportunity. Choosing in many cases to go so far as to even renounce their citizenship.
Snipes got what he deserved. Just another ignorant, greedy dumb phuck. Period.
Just my opinion........

I find it funny how examples are not made of the rich white girls with DUIs, or the rich white men who take money from tax payers (i.e. stock holders and employees) but hey a black man takes from the government and he is made an example of..and people justify it...hahahah so funny

You referring to conviction and sentencing?
Tax evasion in the form of millions of dollars vs. driving under influence - which has more financial impact on the government? Indirectly, perhaps it is DUIs...But I don't think so. Directly it's the money being withheld that should go to public services and help out society in the ways determined by elected political leaders.
Which do you think has more meaning to the government and US society as a whole? I would say taxes. Everyone has to pay em, if nobody did. Intoxicated driving (while very serious and inexcusable, IMO) affects only those on the road at certain times.
Wanna talk Enron, or most any of the other corporate white dudes who have been punished? I don't hear any race card being played when 99% of Caucasian corporate criminals are sentenced...
I can't believe there were racial references made in this thread.
Since when are criminals not criminals?
