This 'make an example of him' sentencing is unconstitutional IMO.

Example is public humilation..are you detached from reality? So you are saying that examples are made of those girls b/c they were publicly humiliated? The same girls who wear no underwear or make sex tapes? And you think that is being made an example of? Give me a break....

One of my points which you assisted me with is that money is more important than life in this system. DUIs kill people, taking from the government rarely does. A simple pay us more than you owe (i.e. interest) or a taking some of his assets until he paid the government in full would have been MUCH less of a strain on the OVER CROWDED jails cells TAYPAYERS PAY FOR ANYWAY!!!! But no they wanted to make him an example...I guess he is lucky he got publicly humiliated and a huge ass jail sentence...

Are you really comparing someone who has essentially stole 10,000,000 to Lindsay Lohan? Find me a case where a white guy doesn't pay millions of dollars in taxes over the last decade and then you could have something to compare it to.

DUIs are dangerous to the public stealing from the government is NOT. Priority is money not life in this system. Again, sending the man to jail for the already OVER TAXED taxpayer to pay is crap. Have the man pay back the money with interest and do some IRS jingle or something....making an example of him was wrong and IMO based on color.

Also let me be clear my overall point is to say that justice is usually unfair to the poor and those of color. YOU are fooling yourselves if you believe otherwise...
