Default what is *your* purpose in life?

Every day I basically go to work, workout at the gym at lunch, come home, Piss around around with my kids then go to bed......

I have started to do some volenteering but really isn't filling my desire to have some kind of purpose......... WTF is the purpose / goal of a normal life?

Kind of like the Godfathers song YOU TUBE LINK -->BIRTH SCHOOL WORK DEATH - GODFATHERS

Shouldn't there be a different goal for everyone? something to try to achieve?

I am the go getter in my circle and I feel like I need to do more.... i look back at my last handful of years and realize I just do the same ****ing shit over and over....

maybe if you share with my *your* goals / purpose i will have something new to try for???

I have already driven the S2000 backwards at 48mph so you don't need to post that one.

The advancement of my art and knowledge. Living in moderation and with the "good".

Eventually raising children, becoming selfless and influencing someone or something in a positive way.

I think I'm 0.006% there.

I'd suggest driving it backwards at 49mph might not be a bad goal.

Honestly, you've probably achieved what many of my goals presently are so I won't be much inspiration to you. I'll tell you what though, when things are going well I like to go perform random, anonymous acts of kindness because I think if I'm happy, it's not fair for other people not to be.

Doesn't really give you a goal, just telling you my interest in sharing happiness with others

For real?

I can't buy in to that, and I don't want this thread to turn in to a religious debate or it's going to go to shit.

I've driven the S2000 backwards at well over 100 mph. I didn't really mean to do it but I did...

collect as many positive experiences as possible and share them with loved ones.

i find it funny when people talk about collecting money or status as if they could take it with them to the grave. in fact, we can take nothing to the grave. collecting a list of women, i can see a point to that...

in all seriousness, i think everything we do is for that last moment of consciousness before we die. if we can feel ok and content, maybe even happy than you've succeeded. i personally think most people are filled with regret and unresolved issues. but by the next moment, it doesn't matter anyways.

lastly, a life spent making others feel loved can never really be called stupid.
