What do all of you do for work?
I am in the same boat
I went to school forever(7 years on and off) and didnt graduate because (criminal justice) was fun classes, I didnt want to do "anything" with it, so I stopped going.
I now work as a valet(going on 8 years), dead end job, great money, stay in shape running, dont bring my work home with me, and I typically only deal with guests for 30 seconds which is great compared to having "clients"....I always tell myself I will get a "Real " job one day but I am just not ready yet and I also dont know what the heck to do.
I keep waiting on that "opportunity" to fall from the sky

Im kind of curious about valet jobs in Neveda(if thats really your location). Do you mind if I pick your brain via pm?
I was working as a doorman at a 4 star/diamond hotel and recently walked out.
I am a utility operator for an EFW ( Energy from waste) power plant. We burn garbage, the heat from the garbage burning turns water into steam, the steam gets pressurized and turns a turbine to generate electricity to 12-15k homes.
22 about to be 23 in 3 weeks IT Support for a nice big Accounting firm. I love my job wish pay was more but as young as I am I don’t complain everything comes with time. But i love what i do and its fun that’s the most important part enjoy what you do if not you will be miserable and hate life.
Im 28 and work for a Helicopter company. We build the rotor blades at the plant that I work at. I work 2nd shift and lots of overtime so I have no social life any more, but I love my job. To me, Id rather sacrifice the social life for something I enjoy, because I hated my previous jobs for a long time.
I'm a magician.

23. Own a Import/export company, Tattoo/piercing parlor, & a gas station. Use to own a Verizon store as well. Looking into getting into a big franchise or open a texas direct competitor. Also consult for a foreign pharma company that will be start US distribution in 2015/2016.
The hours & travel sometime suck. Yes i get to afford some awesome toys but not much time to use them.
Don't do it for the money (even though i can't complain), but building a profitable business from the ground up is "fun" for me. I'm always looking at the next thing and more. Eventually, when i get enough money together, i want to get into building condos in NYC.
don't recommend most people to do what i do tho. Most people talk about opening their own businesses; etc, but don't realize the work or headache it is. Owning your own business is a 24/7 headache with lots of stress. But the payoff can be worth it.
My advice, go to school for sometime you love, get good grades, intern/network a ton, get a nice cushy job in a field ur interested in. Most of the time your networking skills are worth more than your education or skills.
