You could then say that a 300,000 sports car is silly. Its all relative on what you define as "expensive". If you got the money to get a 20,000 watch without breaking a sweat, then more power to you.

Instead of buying a 20000 dollar watch, I'd buy a 4 dollar digital watch and pay a guy to follow me around and be my 'watch'. That would be impressive!

Since there are so many watch experts around here, can one (or two, or three...) of you help me out here?

I've got to stand up and represent OMEGA!!!

I was going to buy a Blue faced two-tone Submariner, but swtiched to the Seamaster Pro for a couple of reasons:

1. The Bling factor isn't as high - in my line of work you don't want to be too showy
2. I just think it is gorgeous - the wave face is awesome
3. I am constantly in the ocean - this watch was specifically made for the ocean - the Subby is not as much an ocean watch as it used to be
4. Save yourself some money

and the most important reason.....

5. James Bond traded in his Submariner for a Seamaster - nuff said

Omega Seamaster (007 Style)

Omega Seamaster America's Cup Titanium - this is the one I want next!

Omega Speedmaster - Until the mid 1990's this was the only watch worn in space!

Omega Seamaster is one of my alltime favorite watches. I like the Bond style, not the chrono, or black face.
