Glad to see your girlfriend carrying a gun.

The more people carry the lower the crime rate goes, the safer we are.

The number of people killed by guns keeps going down because we're armed.

Rather than being a victim, we actually become anti-crime citizens.

I don't keep a stockpile of ammunition. I usually have a few boxes about 2=3 hundred rounds.

What would you do in a situation when someone forces themself inside your home? Call the police with the perp staring at you? Even my girlfriend carries a gun.
The only crimes that occur in my area are rich, white, high school kids getting caught driving with weed/beer. Where do you live? What's it like there? (JW)

Really?

Flemington has a good crime rate but...

Assaults 8 0 3 0
per 100,000 190.5 0.0 71.4 0.0
Burglaries 14 2 8 24
per 100,000 333.3 47.6 190.5 571.4
Thefts 110 84 56 74
per 100,000 2619.0 2000.0 1333.3 1761.9
Auto thefts 4 3 3 2
per 100,000 95.2 71.4 71.4 47.6
City-data.com crime index (higher means more crime, U.S. average = 327.2) 188.1 89.0 86.7 114.3

Still has crime...

Almost as bad as where I live

Does that read 8 assaults? Is there a link to that page? The last time I heard of someone getting killed in Flemington was some guy killed both his parents and then himself. That was.... IDK 6 months ago? Kinda creepy actually cause I drive by that house every once in a while...

Probably get a better scope of things if you include Raritan Township, since Flemington usually refers to Flemington Borough. The majority of people in my area are considered to be in Raritan Township, but all our addresses still read Flemington.

No murders, 1 rape, couple assaults... (2001-2004).

mmm glock............so my fellow s2k gun experts here is what I'm looking for:

lightweight, accurate, easy maintanence, reliability and ammo easy to come by. Is this asking to much for one handgun or is there something you can suggest?

glocks are top heavy to me. They are durable yes, but the plastic body makes it feel ...Idunno odd to me. Even with a full clip the action and everything else being metal on top of the plastic housing makes it feel weird. They are great guns and proven tough though so I cant complain too much

For the money, I think Kimber makes the very best carry weapons.

I have a Springfield XD-9.. takin' over Glocks market share 1 day at a time

What I love the most about all the anti-gun folks is when major cities ban guns, only to see their crime rates skyrocket. That always makes me chuckle.

This is the only pic I have on this computer.. the handgun sits on the nightstand, and the shotgun next to the dresser.

I have to say the SA/XD 9mm just fits great for me. I'm not going to bad mouth glock, I think they are great guns but if it doesn't fit right in your hand then move on. Go to the local target range/gun store and rent a few guns. That's the only way to find the one that fits right!
