What is the most painless and quickest way to die?
Jeez, you guys need to get out more often.
What's the matter with the life you've got that you need to concentrate so hard on what's the best way to finish it?
If it's just a simple question of curiosity - aren't there less morbid and self-defeating things to think about?
Like:
1. Why does buttered toast always land buttered side down on the carpet?
2. When given a choice, why do small dogs always want to shag YOUR leg?
3. Haggis - what's that all about??
4. Why are we here?
5. Why are you here?
6. Why am I ........

Mingster, are you okay? This is kind of a strange thing to ask people. BTW...I know that most of what has been mentioned is not foolproof, and if you live you usually live in agony. Some of the more knowledgeable people like westsidebilly realize this. There are surefire ways that you can do it easily, but I'm not about to advertise them.
Don't ask me how I know, because I will not answer it.....
Drowning. Although it's not the quickest way to go, and initial moments are terrifying (unless you are prepared to drown), the actual death of the body that occurs is very calm. Even the mind is at ease when death of the body occurs....the mind keeps going for minutes following.
