155 in my old STI, actually 155 in a few cars now that i think about it

 

I maxed out my old 04 STI as well at about 155 when the rev limiter kicked in. I tried this in my S2K, but chickened out at about 130mph with top down. Just didn't feel right. The STI hit the top speed faster than any other car I owned, so it didn't turn me scared. Those days of driving high amounts of speed on an open highway like a fool are over for me though.

both with Cr wing and front lip. I got rid of the wing now so this weekend I'll see what she can do without the extra downforce on the rear. I'm expecting to top her out.

 

haha yep, first time i topped it out, i didn't even realize it until the limiter kicked it, scared the shit out of me when i wasn't expecting it.....mind you that was 5 years ago or so

 

155 in my S with the top up, it took a while though, and 170-ish in my friends '00 SC Camaro SS.

 

Ive done 122 in my old scion tc. Got pulled over that time (luckily let me go) and havent really done any top speed runs since. But i have done 138 in a tuned 05 mustang gt
