What's good to see in Malibu Cali?
Planning a trip to Malibu area CA... can anyone recommend some good quiet beaches in the area to bum out on and catch some waves? Probably only can expend 2 days at most in the area to see things so whats worth while?
Thanx

What excactly do you want to do in your time here? Sit on the beach, surf, see the sites? Zuma is the beach to go to and it's a few miles north of Malibu. Santa Monica is a few miles south of Malibu and it has a boardwalk and downtown shopping/sightseeing area call the 3rd street promenade which is popular. Venice beach isn't much further than Santa Monica and is a must see if you haven't been here before.
I'll go up and down the area. I'm never one to use a "public beach" far from wherever I'm staying. Venice beach is kind of a circus (from what I hear).
Surf and bummin' some nice dining... Any shopping I'd hit in vegas.

Malibu is a very nice town. There is alot to see and do there. All that we did when we went is we showed up with no plan to do anything. We went to the beach and looked at some huge house. The best road there (I think this is what it is called) is route 5 (maybe). It runs along side the ocean. It is where the Supra raced the Ferrari in the Fast and the Furious. I had alot of fun there.
Hey Lucid, it's a shame you won't be here in you S. You are gonna be right next to some of the best canyon drives in California!
I agree! Mmmm.... Fried Oyster Sandwich!
