This might get long....

I was on my way to work in Englewood Cliffs, NJ and the usual route is on the NJ Turnpike where you drive near the NYC skyline. It was an absolutely beautiful day that day, and I remember looking at the Towers that day and thinking to myself how ****ing awesome they looked. This is hardly something I would do on my daily commute to work. But something about them on that day....

Anyway, I get to work and our admin tells me a plane hit the tower. I was thinking a Cessna like thousands. And then after the 2nd hit, I started to think about my buddy who worked across the street for Deusche Bank and was trying to get a hold of him (he was late that day, thank goodness). My buddy and I (former Merrill employees) went out to the look out in Englewood Cliffs and just stared as the black smoke rose from the buildings. The rest of the day was spent in shock.

My initial thought about 9/11 is that I easily could have been in buildings surround the WTC if I had made some different decisions along the way on that day.

My heart goes out to all the victims and their families. God bless America.

I was in Turkey. People were very nice when they heard we were Americans. Got stuck in England for 3 extra days with no planes flying to US. British also very nice and accommodating.

I was in high school as well. (24 now) We had the tv on and couldn't believe it. Then the teachers were told to cut the tvs off and go about our day. WTF?! Needless to say not many teachers agreed or followed those directions.

Took a couple of days for it to set it. My family and I had just visited NYC that August too. We even walked in each tower lobby.

I was riding a Lifecycle in the gym and saw the second plane fly into the tower. I felt violated.

I had just gotten picked up by the bus after elementary school. I was watching Bobby's world and enjoying a bowl of cereal. I dropped my legos as soon as I saw the live footage of the towers.

Many people around here also claim to have seen Flight 93 shot down by military aircraft and that it did not crash on its own. We do have a local military base here. I have never researched into this...
Wow. That would be such a cover up. I've heard many conspiracy theories though. And even researched a few myself and even I have questions.
