Default While were on EX's

Well seems alotta peeps having thought about EX gfs and so on lately. Well my take on that is people are as they ever will be, wont ever change, and I dont really think people do withouth a serious life changing event... but it when an EX gf calls up with THAT question ugh!

So my recent story! Fell pretty hard for a girl outta state and stuff went pretty smooth and fast then bam! She starts to flake about the marriage and so on, so I tell her that I am gonna go ahead an go my own way because she obviously has questions, she agrees. 2 days later she cant live without me! LOL So ya wedding plans start to take shape and she bombs again, so I have had enough at this point and wont listen to aword of the "it was my period, im scared etc..." and go my own way.

So its 8 months later and she calls me last night- "Can we try again?" Well I only had one response at this point, "Im sorry, we weree both given an opportunity to persue marriage and as it turns out, we both chose to make decisions that lead in another direction for whatever reason we had to. I can only wish you the best of luck with you future mate." end call

So what ya think, smart dude or Dick!! lol (had to jump on the bandwagon)

I think your 100% correct in assuming people don't change..you made the right choice.people often forget why they broke up in the first place....My thoughts on something like this is if it didn't work the first time it isn't gonna happen the second.the way you handled it is exactly the way i would have. smart man

Well done.

People can change habits and make better choices. . . but yeah, personalities rarely change.

Smart dude. She sounded like more trouble than she was worth.

Smart decision.

I recently dealt with something similar myself. Sometimes, you've just got to cut your losses and move on.

Ya know the funny thing, I usually like to call myself superficial when it comes to dating and like 8s and 9s but I would have gave her a 6 o r7, but still was pretty damn cute. She would have been cuter if she hadnt have pop'd one out, she didnt keep up with her gym dues if ya know what i mean.
