Default who else does it?

so last night i'm sweeping up a pile of hair off my bathroom floor, and i wondered...is it odd that i cut my own hair?
so i'm curious, does anyone else cut their own hair? i get some strange looks when i tell people. i've been doing it for over 10 years, so i'm pretty good at it by now. granted, at the moment i'm just using clippers to buzz it, but over the years i've cut it in different ways. it takes a little time getting used to working in reverse with scissors and 2 mirrors, but i've pretty much got it down now. thoughts?

edit: every now and then i think about how much money i've saved too...let's see, even at 4 haircuts a year, 10 years, $10 a cut...that's $400! nice!

No way. I probably get 10-12 cuts a year at $16 a pop (including tip) and $150-$200 to have someone do it right is a drop in the bucket.

Props to you for mastering the craft. Barbers beware!

I pay about $70 for a haircut once a month. Yeah, that is way too high but she does a nice job and I have had too many bad haircuts to look around.

But I also have a clippers and do touch ups at about week three. Once the neck fur and side burns start to look out of control.

I did my own with clippers for 6 or 7 years. I never screwed it up, but I can't say it ever looked as good as when a pro has done it for me.

I give my chest a nice buzz every now and then. That's only because I'm a sasquatch otherwise. I also try to buzz my back, but I can't reach all the way back there so when I'm done it looks like I have wings.

I am a grown man and my mom still cuts my hair. She does a perfect job every time, so it works out perfectly, plus she likes doing it. Now that I have a son, I take him over to my parents house with me and she cuts both of our hair.

I do mine. I started doing it when I marched in a drum and bugle corps and didn't want to waste my few free days and little cash I had getting to a barber shop and getting my hair cut. I stuck with it after that throughout college and have mostly been doing it since then. My wife does the back for me.
