I have a really expensive set of clippers and liners, and I cut my own hair. Took a bit to get really good at, but now I've mastered it. I give close friends of mine cuts for free. Actually, I'm kind of like a bootleg barber cuz so many people ask when I'm gonna hook them up. It takes too long to cut someone elses hair, though, for free.

Me and my wife split barber duties for me. I do everything I can get to and have her clean up the back. Easy and free. A set of clippers and accessories costs about as much as 4 haircuts, so after a couple months, I got my money worth and it's all gravy now.

Supercuts for me. It's like roulette. You never know what you are going to get! I wear a hat most of the time at work anyway.

I cut my own hair and can do fades, high and tights, to small trims.

For my first haircut my dad took me to his barber. He told my father that I will never pay for a haircut. While growing up my father and I went to him every other week, never paid a single time.

Stopped going around when I was like 15 and started cutting my own hair. Some random reason I went to him when I was 23 (25 now) and enjoyed not having to do it myself.... so I started going again. With his age, he only works very early Mondays and mid-day on Wednesdays.

Three weeks ago I moved, so now I'm about 45 minutes from his shop.

I can cut it myself... have the clippers and everything, but I'm not too good at fading the sides.

In the process of finding a new barber myself. Went to Supercuts this past Sunday, but wasn't too impressed. I have a very simple cut - size 3 on the top and then fade the sides to a 2. I now have a quarter inch gap above left ear and eight inch gap above right ears where the hair stops.

I remember a long time ago, one of my friends tried to cut my brother's hair and then he started being creative to where he needed to use a marker and draw lines on his head. It was soo bad but yet funny at the same time. He did my sideburns really good though

I get mine cut about every 6 weeks for $45 (with tip). I'll usually do a little touch-up in between but nothing substantial.

I have my clippers and could cut it myself, but I have my roommate do it instead since getting the back is the hard part. Its just a simple buzz cut so I don't really have to worry about him messing up. As I grew up my dad always cut my hair. I've never paid for a hair cut and never will. short hair FTW!
