I'm 3/4 Irish, but always have had good friends, business associates, business partners, abd client swho were/are Jewish. I love everything about Jewish customs and traditions, was taught to swear in Yiddish, and root for israel against its enemies, no matter what. I'm the asshole who always spins the dreddle off the table at Sadir (SP?) dinner -- love that brisket and latkas!

 

For you LA people, I tried to organize a lunch at Langers a couple of months ago, but got no interest. I guess no one around here really appreciates really, really good hot pastrami sandwiches.

Lunch is on me -- extra lean Pastrami on Rye with Russian dressian dressing, hot mustard, onions, and cole slaw to die for. Make that to kill for. You're on your own for airfare.

Nothing beats Pastrami on Rye. Used to get a great Pastrami and Turkey on Rye in a little cafe in Flagstaff last time I was over.
