Who's into weighlifting?

... I love my body... MY GOD... I LOVE ME...
I lift just three times a week these days. So not too much of a freak, I guess. I used to lift up to six times a week back when I was in the military. Back then I lifted weights to lift weights but now I do it to just stay in shape. I run the other four days and try to get in at least a half hour of cardio in on the weekdays in addition to the running and lifting weights.
I'm pretty much a light weight, that's why I take the weightgainer 900. However, I know that I don't work out nearly enough to be taking it in the dosage and frequency that is recommended on the container, so I cut it back quite a bit. In addition, I use water to mix it instead of milk, because if I used milk, whoa, there'd be problems, if ya know what I mean. I'm all into protein because I want to gain more weight and mass. since I'm thin by nature, I'm not as into getting the cuts.
i was going to join 24 hour fitness at first, but those bastards pissed me the hell off. I wanted to go use a "10-day free pass" I got from their website. But when I showed up, they said nothing about the free pass, and immediately made me fill out forms and then proceeded to sit me in their office for half an hour trying to sell me a membership. I'm thinking, WTF? I just wanted the free pass trial? Ok, as if that's not bad enough, then they start shoving BS down my throat. They try to sell me the most expensive, multi-club membership, saying that its better for me, even AFTER I've already told them I work in the building (the gym and my office are in the same building) and that I'd be working out strictly after work. Then they tell me that w/o a gym I would have no discipline to work out and that peopl "never" work out on their own and that only a gym can help them discipline themselves. So then they ask me, is cost the only issue? And I said yes. And I told them that maybe knowing I don't have have to pay them something I don't feel is reasonable will be anough for me to discipline myself (ha ha). Finally I just got up and left. And they guy has the nerve to say to me, "ok, I guess we'll see you again next year..." (i went in there a year before and they were also unsuccessful in selling me a membership).
I think the crap that they fed me that day fueled me to work out indepedently, because I work out harder now than I ever did before.

I try to go every day but it usually ends up to be more like 5 times a week. I also do a lot of pushups, curls, shoulder presses, shoulder shrugs and ab exercises at home

I've tried Creaine and it did nothing for me.
I took the Sublingual Kind (Muscle Tech )which does not require a loading phase.
It was a total waste of Money. There is no scientific proof that creatine can be absorbed in these supplement forms. Eating Red Meat is the only proven way to absiorb it. The only thing I felt was the sugar rush that is contained in the formula.
My objective was not to get Huge anyway.
I am more into the Bruce Lee look with the defined muscles and enjoy the other benefits that fitness brings like increased energy and social life ;-)
I joined a Gym 2 years ago and went 7 days a week .
I got some vital instruction from a personal trainer. I suggest everyone that goes to a gym do this. You are wasting your time if you dont or at least not being efficient about your progress.
I would go 6-7 Days a week.
I went from 18.9% Body Fat to 11% in just 3 Months.
I now go 4 Days a week thanks to the side benefit of lncreased social life life.
Here is my formula for success:
I'd always have some Met RX Protien shakes (46 Grams per serving ) 2 times a day preferably within 1 hour after workouts as well as high protien foods there after, very little sugar and virtually no bread is key. And sip water all day
At least 8 glasses. Cold Water Helps Burns even more calories.
The Protien gives your muscles the fuel it needs to burn fat
Muscles burn fat. You need protien to feed your muscles.
Diet and excercise are Key. Those Fat Burning pills will accelerate the process but not without the proper diet and mucho excercise.

As for me, 3 days lifting a week / creatine & ripped fuel supplements / outdoor activities for cardio (basketball, riding, etc.) - I hate running on treadmills or using exercise bikes.
