that is the way i understood it as well.... there was some discussion about it and some people thought it didn't really matter....

It does not make any difference.

However, I always put my wife's first because she is more important than me....errr, I mean....she has this really big dislike against using my first name after the Mrs....so she does not like the traditional male first in everything.
