Guy at my office has a problem with a few words:

"Man that's fustrating." FUSTRATING? - Frustrating
"I'll write up a little synapses." SYNAPSES? Synopsis

I remember the rest...

I have another guy at my office was notorious for mixing up phrases like:

"Man, that's just adding salt to the injury."
"We should get hats and put our company swastika on it."

Um, I think you mean insignia.

Hopefully fobs, they have an excellent excuse. My chinese sounds 'fobby' too I'm sure. People do not learn spelling or grammar very well in school these days. It's also becoming quite popular to sound like an uneducated idiot. That is probably responsible for much of it.
