Why do people say "mines"?
Typing and texting phonetic shorthand is fine but, an attempt at correct english and grammar should be attempted when you are typing out full sentences and paragraphs.
A dropped ' in contractions is forgivable but your and you're and other blatant errors really bring the poster's IQ down

I guess you folks should stay away from Lancaster PA with all of our PA Dutch slang, it will drive yunz nuts.
the worst is when people use "notoriety" in a positive sense when describing fame. lots of educated people make the mistake.
but wut really really tix me off is when people try to sound intelligent by using big words when speaking, some words should only be used in written language, not it spoken language!!!!!!!!!!!!! it really throws off conversations and disconnects the flow of communication. usually makes the person sound like they are trying too hard.
