The one I really hate is when people use "I could care less" when they really should be saying "I could NOT care less". Another fine example of Americans that don't understand what they are actually saying.

Maybe they really could care less. Maybe they still care a little bit. Or, maybe they actually care a lot. Maybe they just don't want you to know exactly how much they care. They want you to spend the rest of the day wondering about how much they care. Is it a little? Is it a lot? You may never know... all you know is that it's more than zero.
