I have a good friend, who in a mostly futile effort to come across as more sophisticated, would often attempt to infuse his conversation with "big" words. Unfortunately his efforts invariably resulted in malapropisms.

i get pissed off when people don't capitalize any letters in their sentences or use semi colons correctly.....

If you are saying that "should of" is the correct phrase then you are wrong, "Should have" is the correct way of saying it. The reason people think it is "should of" is because "should have" is frequently shortened to "should've" and when said it does sound like "should of" but it isn't.

If you are saying "should of" is wrong then it's not clear from what you wrote.
